You might have missed them, but the photos in the 2016/2017 programme of the Strasbourg Philharmonic’s chamber music ensembles were taken in the old premises of COOP Alsace. The photos were taken by Gregory Massat, who himself plays in the orchestra, against the background of the old bakery, the wine cellars and outside the old headquarters of the COOP in the Port du Rhin district. The photos offered a striking contrast between the sensitivity of the musicians and their instruments and the raw charm of the backdrops.
