The Point COOP

Exhibition site and meeting point, the Point Coop – Café Deux-Rives welcomes local residents, visitors and curious passers-by to the former Coop mini-market, a good place to find out more about the Deux-Rives project and the 4 project districts. It provides an opportunity to marvel at the large wooden mock-up of the project area, meet the relevant stakeholders, sit and chat or work over a cup of coffee, or visit the permanent and temporary exhibitions.

Every Wednesday afternoon, from 2 to 6 pm, we are there to welcome you, to explain the project, and to answer all your questions.

Why build, how, and with whom? How to reconcile city and nature? Why reduce the distance between where people live and where they work? How can citizens be involved in their future living environment? The new project is about re-thinking how to design the city so that traditional approaches can be left behind and plans adapted to suit the locality. Here we let you in on a few “manufacturing” secrets.

With a capacity of over 100 people, including a bar area, tables and seating, and an overhead projector, the Point Coop is the ideal venue for meetings, presentations, projections, and colloquies in a relaxed space.

Located only a few minutes walk from the Port du Rhin tram stop (Line D), the Point Coop is within easy reach of the City Centre. The nearest bus stop (Cooperative, Line 2) is also close at hand, and cyclists will find plenty of parking spaces on the building forecourt.
