We’ll be taking advantage of the Streetbouche festival to set up a temporary village, the COOP 2019, in the old cour de la sérigraphie area of the COOP. The village’s 1000 m² will be given over to the companies and organisations due to move into the Coop once work has been completed in 2019. This is the opportunity to meet the artists, cultural and cooperative organisations and social and solidarity companies and get a taste of what the new Coop will be like. The pop-up village features a large marquee, domes and containers for visitors to enjoy a wide range of events, such as science workshops for kids, computer-assisted pancake making (yes!), photography and screen-printing workshops, demonstrations of technical operations such as 3D printing, laser cutting and engraving and lost-wax casting, not to mention video projections and a pop-up radio. As a special bonus, guided tours are being laid on from the COOP, as part of the Heritage Days, which are taking place the same weekend.
Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 September, from 11.00 to 20.00 at the COOP, 3 rue de la Coopérative à Strasbourg. Admission free.
